Katie + Ethan

Katie and Ethan's wedding portrait at Union in the Kansas City Crossroads

Hi, I'm Erin. Every post here is a wedding I photographed. Pull up a chair.

Katie and Ethan had the luckiest wedding day ever: the rain came in hard before their ceremony and lasted until the very end. Some people would let this ruin their day, but not these two. They were so ready to get married it could have rained inside the building and they wouldn’t have been able to stop smiling. Their classic, laid-back style was perfect for the slight curves the day handed them, and they reacted with grace and joy. From all the happy tears from one another, to their family and friends, Katie and Ethan quite literally were the sunshine in a rainstorm all day long.

Is your date still open?

Twelve to twenty weddings a year. Enough to stay sharp, few enough that yours gets my full attention. Which also means dates go fast.

Step one: build your quote in about two minutes.

Step two: I write back within 48 hours about your date.

About the author

I'm Erin. Wedding photographer, veil wrangler, and a big fan of good timelines.

Photography isn’t my full-time job, and that’s on purpose. It means every wedding I take on is one I actually want to be at, and I show up to it rested, excited, and completely yours for the day.

I think through a wedding day in scenes, and my job is to notice all of it. You stay present. I keep up.
