Weddings

You will celebrate this day for the rest of your lives together, and you deserve to have every authentic detail available to reminisce upon for generations to come. I am honored and humbled by every couple that invites me into their wedding day.

Wedding Photography Ethos

I believe the best photos are the ones you can’t plan. However, I also understand that the vast majority of the to-be-wed folks out there aren’t exactly comfortable in front of a camera. In order to achieve an unscripted, documentary style wedding gallery with a perfect blend of smile-inducing candids and ‘is that really us?’ frame-worthy editorial wedding portraits, I photograph with several key elements in mind.

Your wedding is about you and the love you share.

It is not my photo shoot and my goal above all else on a wedding day is to treat you with the utmost care and respect. You fully deserve to voice any ideas or needs and have total confidence you will be heard.

You can fully live in the moments with your loved ones.

Don’t worry about ducking or apologizing to me during your day. This goes for yourselves, your wedding party, your family and all of your guests . You should all feel you are fully able to melt into the moments of your day without worrying for one second that you’re ‘in my way’.

You will not be in charge of directing anyone.

While keeping a careful, in-the-background watch is important for me during a lot of the day, there are times when you need to know I can take charge of a large group and keep the day moving. Rest easy knowing when we have large groups of family or friends to photograph, all you need to do is relax and allow me to direct with authority and kindness.

Your portraits will be beautiful and authentic to you.

Whether it’s time for a few solo portraits or the two of you together, you will not have to be self-conscious or worried about if you look ‘right’. There is no right or wrong way to be you on your wedding day, and it is my utmost delight to capture you simply playing and flirting together. I will offer guidance and find the best light in any scenario to create authentic, editorial and playful portraits that feel like so much more than ‘say cheese!’.

“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”
